About Jisun Chung

 Counselor Jisun Jung, MA, LPC earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is a licensed professional counselor in Illinois. With both academic training and practical experience, she listens with empathy to each client’s unique story and walks alongside them in their journey toward healing.

She specializes in supporting individuals facing marital or family challenges, identity struggles, intergenerational conflicts, trauma, and emotional difficulties such as anxiety and depression. As a 1.5-generation immigrant, Counselor Jung understands the cultural and generational tensions that many in the Korean-American community experience. Her background enables her to serve as a bridge between generations, offering culturally sensitive care and building trust across diverse backgrounds.

Counselor Jung’s mission is to provide a safe, compassionate space where clients can rediscover themselves and move toward wholeness. She values each person’s cultural context and offers a client-centered approach that fosters recovery, growth, and renewed hope.
