Licensed Therapist
CMHI welcomes licensed mental health professionals who are passionate about compassionate, culturally responsive, relationally focused, and spiritually sensitive care.
We especially welcome bilingual and multilingual therapists who can provide culturally and linguistically responsive support for diverse individuals, families, and communities.
Qualifications May Include:
• LCPC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist license in Illinois
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Strong interpersonal and clinical skills
• Interest in multicultural and community mental health
• Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice
• Ability to provide in-person and/or telehealth services
• Bilingual or multilingual ability is strongly valued

Counseling Intern / Practicum Student
CMHI provides supportive training opportunities for counseling students seeking practicum or internship experiences in a culturally responsive and community-centered environment.
We especially encourage applications from bilingual and multilingual counseling students who are passionate about serving diverse and multicultural communities.
Interns receive:
• Individual and group supervision
• Clinical training and mentorship from counselor educators and licensed clinicians
